Library UNIBE

The Information and Communication Center (CID) "Fernández Flores Banuet" of the Universidad de Iberoamérica (UNIBE). is an information center specialized in health sciences, which supports the academic programs that are developed in this house of higher education.
Objectives of the UNIBE CID:

  • Contribute to the strengthening of the academic level of the different faculties of UNIBE.
  • Satisfy the information needs of the different types of users who come to the CID.
  • Disseminate the various bibliographic and audiovisual materials that the bibliographic collection has.
  • Ensure the good condition and development of the collections.
  • Stimulate the formation of reading habits.
  • Become the Permanent Information and Education Center.
  • Promote culture and support research at the University.
The CID has at your disposal:
  • Individual study room.
  • Group study room.
  • Workstations for Internet consultation / online catalog consultation / databases of scientific journals.
  • WIFI connection to the wireless network, this service is provided to students and teachers in the CID UNIBE.

Brief description: The thematic pages of the World Health Observatory cover global health priorities. The data is organized to monitor progress towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular indicators on the health situation to monitor progress towards the overall health goal (mortality and global health estimates, including life expectancy), indicators to monitor equity in health indicators, and indicators for SDG targets specifically focused on health and related aspects (indicators covering the mother's reproductive health fields , the newborn and the child; infectious diseases; noncommunicable diseases and mental health; injuries and violence; and health systems).


Norms for the elaboration of bibliographical references
You can deposit your books in the night mailbox

Hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 p.m. onwards and Saturdays 4:00 p.m. onwards. This is a service available for students who for various reasons cannot deliver books during normal library hours. These may be deposited in the night mailbox at the aforementioned schedule.

Psychological tests CANNOT be deposited in the mailbox. In the case of finding a late book, you will still be charged the respective fine, so you are asked to go to the library to cancel at normal hours.
