All international students stay with a Costa Rican host family. These families have hosted foreign students previously and have been thoroughly selected by our International Department. When hosting students from other cultures, our International Program allows individuals to experience and understand the Hispanic culture. In do so, the students will develop the skills to communicate and permit them to overcome the challenges they encounter while living in a different society and while working in a professional environment outside their home country.

The Host families will provide a room and bathroom with the following items: bed, sheets, pillow, night stand, desk, chair, towel, and blankets. Additionally students will be provided breakfast, a “brown bag” lunch and dinner every day. All host families are required to provide students with internet access as well. Laundry service will be provided at least once a week.
